Liz graduated from UCSC in 2009 with a B.Sc. in Molecular, Cellular and, Developmental Biology and Chemistry. After her graduation she began work as the Genome Technology Center Coordinator. She managed the financial aspects related to the recharge mechanism used center, including interfacing with users regarding questions related to the cost of utilizing the Next Generation sequencing services offered by the Center. She acted as a liaison between the technicians and customers in order to facilitate a friendly and effective center of excellence. She has since moved on to work as a part of the CG Hub team, also at UC Santa Cruz. In her free time she enjoys baking and spending time with her nieces.
